The unique and exclusive 1999/2000 Karuizawa Cask Strength Japanese Single Malt Whisky is the 6th release from the Fugaku Sanjurokkei series, was officially available in limited edition only in Japan and is part of a series featuring thirty-six views of Mount Fuji by the famous Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. The artfully and elaborately designed artist's labels show Mount Fuji from different locations with different weather conditions.
An extremely successful Karuizawa Multi-Vintage Vatted Single Malt Whisky, which, like the well-known Karuizawa Asama bottlings, contains single malt whisky matured in selected European sherry casks from the last two years of production 1999 and 2000 of the closed cult distillery Karuizawa and was bottled without the addition of colourings or chill filtration in the year 2016 at natural cask strength 59.7% vol. by the Number One Drinks Co Ltd.
