Terms & Conditions for Ticket Sales

The Dar Bjorn Charity Gala: An Evening of Elegance at Villa Bighi

1. Ticket Purchase & Entry

1.1 Tickets must be purchased exclusively through Malta Outlet.

1.2 Digital tickets will be issued for entry, and a valid digital ticket (QR code or email confirmation) must be presented for admission.

1.3 Altering, copying, or tampering with tickets may render them invalid.

1.4 Each ticket grants:

• One entry to the event
• One raffle ticket, which will be handed over upon registration before entering the event. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased on-site.

1.5 Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold for commercial gain. Tickets resold or transferred for profit may be invalidated, and entry may be denied without a refund.

2. Age Restriction

2.1 The event is strictly for attendees aged 18 years or older.

2.2 The Organiser reserves the right to request valid photo identification upon entry to verify the attendee's age.

2.3 Individuals under the legal age will be refused entry, and no refunds will be provided.

3. Event Changes & Cancellations

3.1 The Organiser reserves the right to modify event details, including but not limited to:

• Programme schedules
• Artist lineup
• Seating arrangements
• Event timings and other logistical details

These modifications shall not be considered material changes and do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

3.2 In case of rescheduling or relocation, ticket holders will be given the option to:

• Retain their tickets for the new date or location
• Request a refund, subject to applicable conditions

3.3 If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered:

• The option to transfer their ticket to a future event
• A refund (excluding non-refundable booking and transaction fees)

3.4 Please note that Booking Fees and Transaction Fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation, rescheduling, or relocation.

3.5. The Organiser shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees, including but not limited to travel and accommodation expenses, due to event changes, rescheduling, or cancellations.

4. Dress Code

4.1 Black tie attire is mandatory for entry. Guests are expected to adhere to the dress code to maintain the event’s formal elegance.

4.2 Failure to comply with the dress code may result in denied entry without refund.

5. Security & Admission

5.1 The Organiser reserves the right to:

• Conduct security screenings, including bag checks
• Refuse admission to any attendee who poses a security or safety risk
• Deny entry to individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs

5.2 Prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, illegal substances, and large bags, are not permitted at the venue.

6. Liability & Safety

6.1 The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death sustained during the event, except where directly caused by a breach of legal duty by the Organiser.

6.2 The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any third-party actions, including but not limited to performers, exhibitors, or vendors.

6.3 The event will proceed as planned unless deemed unsafe by the event’s safety officer. Refunds will not be issued due to adverse weather conditions if the event is not cancelled.

7. Photography, Filming & Recording

7.1 By attending, you explicitly consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organiser or authorised third parties for promotional, security, or media purposes.

7.2 By attending you also give explicitly consent that Event footage may be used for marketing, publications, and broadcasts without further consent or compensation.

8. Refunds & Exchanges

8.1 All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged except in the event of official cancellation or rescheduling.

8.2 Booking and transaction fees are non-refundable.

9. Personal Property

9.1 Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The Organiser accepts no liability whatsoever for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during the event.

9.2 It is the attendee's responsibility to secure their valuables.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 The Organiser shall not be liable for any delay, rescheduling, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions or legal orders
• Public health emergencies
• Civil unrest or terrorism

11. Legal Jurisdiction

11.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Maltese law.

11.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

12.1 Personal data collected during the ticket purchase process will be processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Maltese data protection laws.

12.2 The data collected may be used for:

• Event related communications
• Processing ticket sales and event-related communications
• Security and safety purposes
• Compliance with legal obligations

12.3 Personal data will not be shared with third parties for any other marketing purposes without explicit consent.
