Venice : The Silence Of Beauty

This project was born almost instinctively at the moment when the events of this particular year – 2020 – allowed us to see the city from a different perspective. An unprecedented, privileged, and almost inaccessible viewpoint that revealed a solitary Venice, in its true form among architectures, canals and 'rii', squares, and 'campielli', in all its silent beauty. The art of photography by Andrea Pancino – who produces with technical skill and genuine sensitivity – intertwines with literary art, featuring the powerful words of Haiku texts by Leonardo Driusso, three-verse compositions that describe the images with effective immediacy. This artistic synthesis leaves space for suggestions that touch the innermost chords of the viewing reader. Venice is in these pages an unprecedented theater, where man leaves the stage to the infinite emotions evoked by Venetian art and history, especially during these 59 long days.
